We are starting off the season with a bang - with new artists and natural history themes, events, and a wonderful plan for charitable giving at Fischer Arts.
And of course, a giveaway! But more on that in a minute...
Let's start with the natural history themes in the gallery.
We have organized the front of our brick-and mortar space into specific natural history themes. You've seen some of these, but there are a few new ones....
Birds
Botanicals
Forests, Trees, and Landscapes
Fruits and Veggies
Minerals and Metals
Mushrooms, Mosses, and Lichen
Pollinators and Curious Crawling Creatures
Ocean Life
In each thematic area we have contemporary art, handcrafted gifts, as well as our specialty: unique original antique prints. Each section is carefully curated, and coveys our love and passion for the natural world.
You might ask where this love (aka obsession) with science and nature comes from. Well, it's who I am both professionally and personally. If you want to learn a little more about me, you can check out my bio here. Or maybe learn a little about some of my work on the blog.
In an nutshell: My love of the natural world keeps me afloat.
That is why a love of nature is behind every piece we offer.
And, for 2024, we are directing our charitable giving based on our natural history themes.
Over the next few weeks, we will be introducing people to these themes.
And since a portion of sales from each individual theme will go to specific charities, you will learn more about those charities as well.
