Sunshine and Summer

Temperatures are already in the 90s here in Vermont! Summer has arrived. It means that Vermont is exploding with color - including every possible shade of green.

With the wonderful weather comes expanded hours:

Fischer Arts is now open 5 days a week:

Thursday through Monday, from 11-4.

There are so many wonderful new arrivals at the gallery.

The sun-filled windows are home to two nature themes.

The first is "The Garden".

Handmade stained glass butterflies and rainbows from Vermont's Root Studio float in the window. They hover above botanical etchings and watercolors from Vermont artists - including Bobbi Angell and Zarabeth Duell. Handcrafted jewelry from Erica Walker - with vibrant labradorite - takes center stage. We also have new antique lithographs of fruits, veggies, and butterflies that recently arrived from Europe. You can see more here.

The second window is home to "The Ocean"

The window is filled with engravings of everything from sea anemones to oysters. There are watercolors by Joe McKendry from his "Beach" series, and a favorite photograph of Cape Cod Bay. The window is also home to handcrafted jewelry and unique antique pieces. See more here.

New block prints from Sarah Hess now have a special place in the gallery. Just in time for the change of seasons: "Clematis in June" and "Saucer Magnolia" - now available.

And stay tuned - because our exhibit space is home to new paintings by Jason Brockert and

Kate Follett. More information about these wonderful artists coming soon.

Welcome, summer!
