In a blink of an eye, the we went from the hazy, lazy days of July and August -
into early September.
But summer isn't over yet! It is quite beautiful in Vermont, weather in the high 70s and low 80s
(my dream weather, to be honest).
And the colors... oh my...
The late afternoon sun leaves a golden glow in the grasses next to rural roads.
What you see growing there - those aren't weeds to me.
They are fireworks.
I will take every minute I can get!
Although, let's face it, the season that is just around the corner is pretty special, too.
And - as luck would have it - the beginning of Autumn coincides with the Chester Festival!
Well worth a visit to the area!
Rows and rows of vendors - from food to crafts, special events, music - and of course, a Fischer Arts nature scavenger hunt for children!
If you haven't downloaded it yet - here is a free guide to our little corner of Vermont.
It includes recommendations for restaurants, accommodations, hiking trails
- and of course shopping...
Enjoy this beautiful time in New England!
