Here we are, working our way into 2023.
Fischer Arts is now enjoying the second year in our beautiful (and literal) brick-and-mortar location.
I find myself, once again, astonished at how quickly a year passes.
Our first year of business has been a true joy. We have met amazing people... artists, customers, and neighbors who we are grateful to call good friends. We've expanded and explored, opened new shows and micro-exhibits and broadened our natural history themes. We continue to learn, grow, and adapt.
And, we recognized and supported organizations working to preserve fragile ecosystems and protect wildlife. In 2022, we supported organizations including:
Audubon Society
Environmental Defense Fund
International Fund for Animal Welfare
Nature Conservancy
Ocean Conservancy
Society for the Protection of New Hampshire Forests
Vermont Land Trust
We are happy to say that, in 2023, our goal is to expand our charitable giving. We will be sharing more about our expanded mission soon.
None of this would be possible without the support of our customers.
Thank you to everyone who has helped us build and grow this small business.
Over the last 3 years my family has learned to welcome - even embrace - change. Admittedly it wasn't always voluntary at first.... but after a few years of twisty turns and unexpected transitions, we find ourselves having officially adopted the mantra "roll with it".
It is quite extraordinary that life continues to meander and evolve in a wonderfully
unpredictable way. We welcome 2023 and the new adventures ahead.
